How long in North Carolina?
I have been living in NC going on 14 years this summer.
What’s a “hidden gem” you think most people miss?
The Outerbank Islands! Specifically, the archipelago ferry hopping geography is one of a kind, and a must!
What is your favorite 'spot' in town to relax or spend a day off?
Little Mountain Creek Park. It's my favorite to enjoy serenity on the lake surrounded by nature. Best place for picnics or grill outs and easy going hiking trails.
What’s surprised you the most about living in North Carolina?
How hot the summers can get. Thankfully Western NC has a plethora of waterfalls and rivers to swim in when the time comes.
What I wish more people knew about North Carolina?
We have one of the few natural hot springs in the south east! Located in (you guessed it) Hotsprings NC!
Where is the best place to watch a sunset/sunrise, or take a great photo?
Any overlook parking spot off the BlueRidge Parkway.
If you had 36 hours to show someone the best of this town, what would you do?
Get a boat tour across Lake Norman. Go to the several nature parks in the surrounding area, Take them to cookout specifically at 2 am (classic NC timestamp for cookout). Visit the local gem mines, North America's largest emerald came out of the surrounding area! And of course as always visit my favorite dispo ;)
